Jon Miller Student Writing Competition
The goal of this program is to encourage and recognize outstanding student writing as Dr. Miller did during his many years of teaching.
These prizes are awarded in honor of our friend, teacher, colleague and mentor Dr. Jon Miller who taught English at the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics from its opening in 1980 until his retirement in 2015. Dr. Miller passed away in 2017.
